Fontainebleau Castle is one of the largest French castles and has hosted many monarchs and generals, from Louis IV to Napoleon I. A true work of art, the medieval palace is an example of Renaissance architectural style and decoration. Located just outside Paris, the palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that attracts hundreds of visitors each year. Among the palace's exhibits, there is a collection of rare porcelain artifacts, such as Chinese vases and objects for everyday use.FAOS undertook the lighting of a large 'L' type 'Freestanding' display case to house porcelain artworks, tailored to meet the particular needs of the project. The lighting of the exhibits was done with a special led profile construction with mobile leds that can focus on the exhibit without drawing the visitor's attention.
