In the heart of Liege is the Grand Curtius. It is a museum complex that houses important art collections in an early 17th century building owned by Jean de Corte, also known as Curtius, a wealthy arms and gunpowder merchant of the time. The Arms Museum is one of the oldest museums in Liège housing the collection of weapons, reflecting their technological evolution over four centuries.FAOS undertook the indoor and outdoor lighting for the museum's new permanent exhibition of the weapons collection, which will be spread over three levels. In September 2018 we completed the first level of the exhibition, which included weapons used in hunting and defence. Spots with a small diameter of Φ25 mm were placed inside the showcases with a high CRI index, while three-phase rail spots with a zoomable lens with a high CRI index were placed outside the showcases.
