In an existing metal shell located at the entrance of the city of Nafplio, the architectural Studio 2Pi architecture, created a modern space - a bread, food and coffee station, aimed both at the passing visitor and the permanent resident. In a structured environment of a semi-urban nature, the size of the building projects a scale that is dominant and combined with the ubiquitous free space, urges the architect to handle the reconstruction as a proposal that moves within the limits of an autonomous and self-contained volume, respecting the its relationship with the central road axis.FAOS undertook the lighting of the building. The external lighting alternates according to the wishes and needs of the users, so as to become a part of the design that is unified and indivisible from the shell, without the use of markings which is a common phenomenon in similar buildings with the specific use. The interior lighting of the building is focused on highlighting the products but also on creating a single dynamic architectural element.
