2019 marked 120 years of Greek-Japanese relations. One of the central celebrations of this important anniversary for the two states is the exhibition "Decorative Arts in Meiji and Heiji: Crafting Beauty and Technique in 150 Years", presented at the Museum of Modern Hellenic Culture in collaboration with the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo. The exhibition brings the Greek public closer to Japanese culture and presents a comprehensive overview of the development of Japan's decorative arts from 1868 to the present day.FAOS undertook the lighting of the display cases of various categories and openings intended to house ceramics, lacquer boxes, metal objects and textiles, whether elaborately decorated or plain. Our aim was to bring out the details of the ornate objects and the aesthetics of the shop windows to be in line with Japanese culture. Visit the website of the Museum of Modern Hellenic Culture.
