Sir John Monash Centre, located in Northern France, is a museum that tells the story of the sacrifice of thousands of Australian soldiers during the First World War. This story is aimed at the youth of the 21st century. FAOS undertook the lighting within the Sir John Monash Center showcases, using led modules with a high CRI index. The special panels that frame the flat screens were made from wood that was transported from Australia to Greece and then to France. The multimedia environment is interrupted by works by Australian artists that reduce the emotional intensity of war stories. Visitors browse the website with the help of an application they downloaded to their mobile phone. The challenge for us was to be able to fit the lighting harmoniously around the exhibits.
